I began my acting and public speaking in high school. I found that I had a real love and talent for it. Once in college I participated in competitive public speaking and got involved in acting and directing in community theatre around town. Ultimately I found my way into sales, and then later used my communication skills in corporate training. My public speaking background served me when I ran for office and for helping others to campaign as well.

Since my wife and I have retired we have taken on the roll of full time day care for our three grandchildren. No job has ever been so demanding or fulfilling. We call ourselves "The Toddler Squad"
